Meet Our Team

The people carrying this mission forward — leading with faith, serving with skill, and showing up for our mission.

Chris McGrath

Founder

Chris McGrath is the founder of The Filipino Hope Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to equipping communities, empowering local leaders, and creating lasting hope across the Philippines. Driven by his faith and a passion for sustainable transformation, Chris helps people discover that true freedom comes through spiritual alignment and purposeful living. His mission is to inspire individuals to become spiritually and financially free so they can strengthen families, serve their communities, and leave a lasting legacy.

Joshua McGrath

Secretary

Joshua McGrath serves as Secretary of the nonprofit and brings a natural gift for connecting with people. Born in West London near Ealing Broadway, Joshua later attended college in Georgia, where he was a collegiate basketball player. He currently runs a restaurant in Hermosa Beach, California, where his warmth, charm, and genuine care for people have earned him the nickname “The Mayor of Hermosa Beach.” Joshua has a tender heart toward people and their needs, connects emotionally with those around him, and carries a unique influence with the younger generation. His relational strength, servant-hearted spirit, and ability to make people feel seen and valued make him an important part of the organization’s mission.

Soraya Piche

Treasurer

Soraya Piche serves as Treasurer of the nonprofit and brings both professional healthcare experience and a deep heart for service. Born and raised in East Los Angeles, Soraya is a Licensed Vocational Nurse with experience in home health, hospice care, dementia care, post-operative recovery, and support for patients with complex medical needs. As a committed Christian, she has a strong conviction to help people with compassion, dignity, and practical care, especially those who are vulnerable, hurting, or in need. Her nursing background, faith, and servant-hearted commitment make her a valuable part of the organization’s mission to bring hope, support, and transformation to the community.
